My pdoc says I have a physical problem, not mental

I saw him Monday about feeling rundown, moody, and having no energy. I just want to stay in bed and do nothing.

He requested my medical records from my primary care physician and wants to do some blood work. As of today, he hasn’t received my records.

I go to therapy one day a week, so it’s easier to see my pdoc. It’s harder on me to go to my PCP. It’s really nice of my pdoc looking into my physical problem instead of telling me to go see my PCP. If only they would send my records go I can get blood drawn. I’m waiting.

Any clues about what physical problem that might be?

He mentioned testosterone, vitamin D, thyroid, anemia. Maybe some other things I don’t recall.

My PCP told me my testosterone was on the low side in 2016 and I was anemic before, maybe 2013.

Fatigue can be caused by both, mental and/or physical.

Thanks Aziz. My pdoc mostly ruled out mental issues. He doesn’t think I’m depressed.

Check your vitamin D and thyroid status.

I’m sorry @anon54988740
I feel run down too but I have low Testosterone levels.
Hopefully they will get to the bottom of things and find out what is the issue with your health.

Best of luck with everything.
