He was hunting deers the other day I just thought it was disturbing. Even if it was just a game.

Its not unusual to have differences on opinions on things in a relationship.
I personally feel all hunting is gross and exploitative. What gives someone the right to slaughter animals simply for “fun”.

I stopped playing video games a long time ago.
Most of them seem to be tailored to men’s primal violent instincts. Yeah, some popular games do involve building and strategizing, but after a while you must still decimate your opponent.

I used to hunt small game for food…squirrels and such. But I’m no longer allowed to own guns so I quit hunting. There’s a huge difference between hunting for sport and hunting for subsistence. I feel that if you kill it, you eat it…

Some relatives hunt, and they follow the same rule- you only hunt it if you plan to eat it. I do not like gamey meat, so I never ate any. This was back when I was growing up.

Strangely enough, I’ve gotten meat from friends who hunt and I’ve found that moose is much more gamey than caribou. I’ve tried seal meat, too, and it is NASTY!

I don’t like the whole process. But I respect my uncle for the way he does it. He only kills what he eats. He just loves the taste of deer meat. I personally can’t stand it. But to each their own!

Oh well thats very different. If I was to count all the people I’ve killed in video games over the years I’d be a mass murderer.

My x boyfriend is a hunter and hunted foxes and rabbits etc
The farmers wanted him to hunt on their land to stop the animals from doing harm to their property.
He wasn’t paid but he was given ground anc permission to hunt on big areas of land.
He loves hunting.
I left him to become vegan even though it was pretty perfect home and family and I was happy there.
It was against my morals to harm animals.
