surrender is up for adoption now. He was a biter. He bit children and adults alike. We finally found this lady who specializes in retraining aggressive dogs through behavior modification training. She says he’s ready now for a new home. I really hope it works out. He bites really hard and draws a lot of blood so I hope she’s right.

The last time he bit, he had jumped on my lap. So I started petting him and suddenly he bit my face. He latched on so my husband had to pry him off my face. That was the final straw

Thats a shame but unfortunately it cant be helped. Its dangerous to keep aggressive animals.
Did you get the dog when he/she was young?
Often I wonder if dog pick up bad habits because they aren’t cared for enough.
I had to have an aggressive bite put down. She was food aggressive. The last straw was biting my then 3 year olds face over a dang dropped rice krispie. Not a treat, a single bit of cereal.

Barkley was found as a stray so we don’t know his history. But we always treated him really well
Barkley bit us over food too. Plus he would bite when it was totally unprovoked.
