She works a hospital for Native Americans and has lung disease.
They were of the first vaccinated in their state.
I’m happy for her but a little concerned at the same time.
Just hope she doesn’t have any reactions to it.

Wow. That’s big news. She’ll probably feel rotten for a few days then she’ll be ok.
So far things are looking good.
I think she’ll be fine.
Pretty groundbreaking stuff, @GoldenRex. Hopefully your mother has no adverse reactions or anything to the vaccine. I hope to get vaccinated one day, but I’m pretty low on the totem pole for it.
I understand your concern about side effects. I’d like to think the FDA knew what they were doing.
You’re in my thoughts.
I wish her all the best! Hopefully it’s effective and can keep her safe!
@GoldenRex I’m so happy for your mom and the other health care workers that they are finally able to get the COVID vaccine. The frontline healthcare workers are modern day super heroes! The world owes them an incalculable debt of gratitude.
I’m envious, I want that vaccine.
I’m sure it will be safe and effective. Makes sense to give it to health care workers first.
I hope it goes well. I’m nervous about it because so little research has been done so far. But I’ll most likely get the vaccine when it becomes available to me
