She was one of those hoarders you see on TV. What got her in trouble was she started hoarding mainly cats but some dogs.
The pest control guy she let in her house reported her to animal control in 2010, and she was charged with something like 20 counts of felony animal abuse. She lost her house and went in to the nursing home. I’m not really sure what my sister did to get the charges dropped. My mom going to the nursing home may have been part of the agreement.
I told my therapist about this when I was talking about my mom alleging I was dangerous to myself or others in 2008 before she got busted. She told numerous lies about me.
I guess justice was served when she got charged with felony animal abuse.
A lot of times we see these things coming in our parents things that we cannot control some things we can control but wish not to one of those things is hoarding animals is it our fault that there are more animals out of control or is it our fault that we cannot control others that are controlling animals that are out of control whichever the case the outcome is always the same sorry to hear about your mom and the lie she spread I hope you are forgiving
Thanks @Montezuma Yes she definitely had mental issues, but she never got help for them. This stuff is coming back to haunt me now, because of my involuntary psychiatric admission causing me some trouble now.
