My lizard is my baby

since my partner and I may never have kids we consider our bearded dragon our baby we use to have a uromastyx but we were forced to get rid of him. his picture is in my avatar. he likes to go outside. he loves fresh greens especially cilantro. but he loves his superworms more. I want to get him hornworms or silkworms Thursday. they are a bit meatier and are better for him. tells me about your pets and if you consider them your babies.

Awww we had a bearded dragon where I volunteered

Named tornado

He was cool, I was gonna get one but no reptiles in my apartment…so I got birds instead. Rodney and d-ham. My parents have a cat which I adore and my sister has an awesome new puppy…and a cat.

An elderly relative of mine has a cat, and I really like it. But it always demands attention. It wants attention around the clock.

My beardie is my baby too! He’s my absolute best friend.

And might I add, one hell of a pimp!!!

I have three cats. They are not too demanding until they are. They are my practice children.

Chewy is the guardian who likes to scratch my shoes and jump in the car. Stripes likes to eat and is a cuddly sweetheart. Panda is pretty aloof and hisses at her brothers.

When I move I might take Chewy and Stripes.

Awww! Great photo. I especially like his little cap. All you need is a pair of tiny furry dice for his car. He’s pimpin’ his ride.

Nice photo!

My sister had a bearded dragon, well technically it was her son’s. She called it Lizzie and it seemed like she always had it sitting on her shoulder whenever I would call her on the phone. She said Lizzie liked to sleep on her shoulder. She ended up re-homing Lizzie because her son had lost interest in her.

unfortunately that happens a lot. it happened with my in laws iguana. their daughter lost interest in him so they got rid of him. I was forced to get rid of my uromastyx as punishment for speaking back to my in laws

Yeah when I was a kid I lost interest in my leopard gecko

But that was before I became CRAZY about animals

We got it a good new home though

It was a hassle buying crickets all the time so we gave it to the guy working at the pet store

Nice pictures, they’re both gorgeous. I’d like to foster a dog or cat but I live in an apartment and it’s against the rules.

I have a seven month old (tomorrow) kitten named Tiggy.

I call him Tiggy baby because he is like my baby. I don’t want human children so the cat is just perfect for us.

He nurses on the sleeve of my dressing gown and follows me around the house. He plays fetch and pulls his food out of the pantry when he is hungry.

He is a very clever, very affectionate kitty and we’re very lucky to have our little fur baby!

before I got my uromastyx and bearded dragon I never thought I could love a reptile so much all I ever had were cats and dogs. that is an awesome picture of your kitty. I had a cat that would scoop his food into his water and then eat it.

At the moment, Tiggy is scooping all his dry biscuits onto the floor then eating them.

He also plays in his water, splashes it around a lot. It’s quite messy in our house! Especially with all his cat toys :purple_heart: Even though he has a toy box, which he uses like a child.

that’s funny, I miss having furries but my partner said no more furry pets since we always have to get rid of them but we had to get rid of our uromastyx too so they could make us get rid of the bearded dragon too but kay said they won’t since technically he is her pet.

But she did promise me once we move out I can get another lizard.

So cute! Gus eats his wet food daintily, with his paw. Dips it in, scoops up some meat, eats it off his “soup paw”.
