My levels were low and I had anemia. My head was spinning. I am taking 3x higher dose of synthyroid med since last month. I feel a lot better.
I guess hormones are a big deal and my body plays a huge role in my psychosis.
Doctor says it’s a catch22 situation and a cycle…
Body falls ill= psychosis. Psychosis= body ill.
Being chronically ill is not fun at all.

I’m glad the doctors found the cause of your psychosis and it is treatable.
Yeah my psychiatrist reduced my medications because hypothyroidism was causing high prolactin.

It’s ok. I have had hypo since very young which I’ve been on medication since, but my body took an absolute toll on my endocrine system last month. It’s just more severe now and I’m on a high dose of synthyroid medications to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Thank you for your warm thoughts
