I’m reading a book about practising mindful sex. Basically you try to have no fantasy, no emotion, just awareness of the act itself. Apparently this is the way to true love.

emotion is attachment to the past, fantasy is attachment to the future, so the reasoning goes
Ask her if this is about intimacy and if she feels comfortable. Then ask her to be naked around you. Don’t make it about sex, make sure its about her being comfortable around you. Then tell her if she feels the same way after a while, then you’ll respect her wishes.

She thinks you’ll not marry her if did it before marriage. Why can’t you wait till wedding night?
You should respect her wishes if she doesn’t believe in sex before marriage. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, and sex should be talked about between two people before doing it. Sex is an intimate act of love, so you two should talk about it before you do it. If she doesn’t want to, then you must respect her and not force her.

My friend once said sex complicates relationships,which I think it’s true.
Last year I met my wife,she brought me to the Philippines and the first night at her house,I didn’t control and had sex with her.I didn’t cheat on her because a year later I married her…now we started getting angry at each other.
I didn’t like myself much when I am alone and I committed into a relationship so fast that I am not happy with myself in the first place
