haha. Fair cop. I refuse to use spotify or streaming services. Still buy itunes songs and use my back catalogue. Just don’t like how small the royalties are for artists and would rather pay $2 a song.

I used to only listen to offline stuff I had too (mp3s etc), but finally converted to streaming. It’s saved me a small fortune overall.

I use Spotify lite so I can’t just get a song, I have to listen to others to get to it. The premium is too much data . But I still like it, I found some lovely songs on there which I ask my niece to download for me

I stopped using Spotify because they would recommend all these inappropriate podcasts and theres no way to remove them from the homepage pissed me off so i use youtube now

I use Apple Music which I WISH had a suggestions feature like Spotify. I don’t think I’ll switch though because my library is just too large to transfer manually. Ah well

I have a trick I use with spotify…my favorite albums are on my “search list” and I have almost forty five albums there I just go to unless I want to listen to someone else not on the list…love spotify…

I was using spotify for a few years and then took up the offer of amazon unlimited free for three months.
The difference is that I couldn’t transfer over my history and that it doesn’t do a friday new releases for my preference playlist like spotify does. It does do a discovery playlist though.
Amazon plays musc differently too by playing similar artists directly after the album you have chosen. On spotify I used to play the consecutive albums one after the other of an artist I liked.
Podcasts can be found on amazon that I couldn’t find on spotify which is an advantage.
They cost the same so I’ll continue with amazon for now.

I find if you keep using “go to song radio” you eventually find some goods
