I pay $120 a month after 80% insurance copay. The shot is about 600 dollars . im in canada
I’m in the US where meds are extremely expensive.
Crazy US praces, my montly med supply costs me 0.6$
Atypical antipsychotics costs $1000 to $2000 in the US. With Medicare, there’s initially just a copay. But when you reach what is called the donut hole, which is when the amount you pay plus the amount Medicare pays reaches $3,750 (which on APs happens after just a couple months) you have to pay almost half the cost of your meds until you reach the third phase of coverage where your costs go way down.
I don’t qualify for extra help because even though we always have our 15 year old, we don’t get to claim her because her mom claims her. We also can count my 21 year old towards our family size because she’s over 18. If we could claim our kids, we would qualify for Medicaid. But we don’t. So I have to keep my meds costs way down
How much does haldol 70mg depot costs? Or 50mg?
The cash price is $15/ month. With my insurance it’s $0.00. That’s why I’m on Haldol. This is for the pills
Let me check for depot
I’m not figuring out how to enter the right dosage into GoodRx to find the cost of the depot.
Haldol is better than invega imo, I think atypical aps are just some scam. Every atypical ap I took messed me up badly, haldol is good for me
i hope you find a way to get the meds that work for you…
Thanks @lekkerhondje
I hope everything works out for you Pianogal.
Thanks @alasangel
İf you really want to change your medicine i would suggest to take injection form.pill forms are too strong and cause anhedonia
paliperidone is super expensive. once i was re applying for insurance i tried to fill prescription and is was over $900. i had to stop meds until i got approved for insurance
Paliperadone is a great drug. Sorted me right out. I hope it works for you too.
@anon68444330, I can’t afford the shots.
Thanks @Naarai
Isn’t paliperidone a metabolite of Risperdal, which is a cheap generic? Good luck.
@robertc I think so. But I had a reaction to risperdol. I used to be on Invega when I had Medicaid and didn’t have to pay for my meds. I didn’t have a bad reaction to Invega as opposed to risperdol. My head started bobbing up and down like crazy with risperdol. That didn’t happen with Invega.
