My doorbell was dismantled this morning

I am slightly freaked out. My doorbell/intercom went off at 7:45 this morning. I was asleep. I answered it and there was no answer. It then cut off. I thought nothing of it.

Cut to midday I go to bring the bins in and find my doorbell in pieces by the front door. The way it was mounted I don’t think this could have been an accident.

I think someone is ■■■■■■■ with me. Has me more than a little freaked out

Oh that’s awful. Maybe it was a prank. Some school kids on their way to school or something.
