My doctor agreed to lower Latuda from 37mg to 18.5

I have been having some minor akathisia while on Latuda, also i feel like am less active, staying in home most of the time. Couple years ago i was on 5mg Olanzapine and did really well, exercised and and managed to do schoolwork. Even though the Olanzapine somewhat weakened my memory and concentration. I think I am sensitive to anti-psychotics and the normal doses they prescribe makes me too dull. I actually did sort of well with 400mg Seroquel at evenings for like 7 years after my first psychotic episodes. I still had some minor auditory hallucinations, but they did not bother me that much. I hope that lowering of Latuda + the 1kg of Sarcosine i just got will help me become more active and maybe i will be able to finish school

Hope ito goes well for you. There’s no easy way with the negative symptoms. If your getting some relief and able to function then that is a win! Let us know how you go with it!

I am currently on latuda and it is going pretty well but I tried coming off it and almost went mad as in I was t coping.

Latuda seems to make my jaw clench and it feels awful.
It clenches so hard and I do not feel like myself sometimes.
So hard and etc

I was on olanzapine as well which was much calmer for me but had weight gain of twenty kg.
It may of been better for me i seem to think.

I am willing to try geodon in 6-12 months time perhaps but I am not willing to change right now .
I may need stability in a way so not to much change all at once.

Hope you will find a good dose for you.

Sounds like you preferred olanzapine.

I think I did in a way too but I lost ten kg since I got on latuda .
So only ten or five kg more than my usual weight.

Did you lose weight when you switched to latuda from olanzapine?

Are you willing to try another medication?

I was actually on Serdolect for over a year since Olanzapine and then switched to Latuda. Anyway, before last summer i weighed 114kg, now i weight around 231lb (105kg), but that is still too much even though i am pretty tall (6ft 2.8inch or 190cm). I kinda liked Olanzapine but it worsened my memory and concentration, which is vital for school.

If this med change does not work, i will probably try Cannabidiol next as i have read that it does not have that much side-effects.
