My dad fell and hit his head

I can’t drive so he had to drive himself to the Veterans Administration hospital. He wouldn’t let me call Emergency (911 for those in the US).

It’s been raining here for days. It’s so muddy out

His head was bleeding

My dad not only helps me. He helps everyone. He complains a lot but he’s basically good at heart

He said that he hurt his back in the fall

No. Bc he’s going to spend the night at my nieces house after he gets out of the hospital.

Yeah. Like I said he’s going to the va hospital to get his head checked. He also hurt his back in the fall. He’s been having a hard week. Throwing out a lot of cuss words. He’s a Christian but he still cusses idk

He said he didn’t feel dizzy or anything. I think he just scraped his head. His back is probably of more concern

The drs said my dad has traumatic head injury and they put him in a neck brace but daddy texted me that they’re sending him home and he’s going to work tomorrow. They’re just gonna run a few tests to make sure

Good luck to your dad in his recovery! He might be incredibly emotional for the next week or so. I was after my head injury.

He slipped in the mud and hit his head on his truck tire. He said the drs said it was just a scratch. It bled though. It looked bad

They’re doing some tests to make sure he’s ok. He also said his back was hurting

Edit: his cat scan came back good. He’s getting stitches in his head probably

I worry about growing old and being clumsy and falling down…for the elderly it’s as serious as an infant falling down…I hope your dad heals his head and back good.
