It was a nice service. I had to fight back tears, because I hate for people to see me cry.
He was only 38 yrs old when he was diagnosed with colon cancer, fought off cancer for 14 years, died at 52.
He was cremated, so I didn’t have to see his body; he looked terrible in the recent pictures I saw.
He was a great guy; at least his suffering is over now.

Yeah, I’ll be okay. I’ve dealt with worse, like losing my mom and then my dad. It’s still sad, though.
