I went to the dr today and my blood pressure was 140/100 how bad is it??

Anything 180/120 or above needs immediate medical attention.

I’m on high blood pressure meds…you might try that…it’s not good to have elevated blood pressure…yours really isn’t that high I don’t think…the top number for sure.

Normal blood pressure for most adults is defined as a systolic pressure of less than 120 and a diastolic pressure of less than 80 . Elevated blood pressure is defined as a systolic pressure between 120 and 129 with a diastolic pressure of less than 80.

It’s high but not extremely high.
Keep an eye on it and if it continues to be high, consider meds.
