I messed up my back somehow.
It probably has something to do with me being overweight and continuously lying on the couch.
I am in excruciating pain.
I’m popping Tylenol like it’s candy!
Do you have epsom salt? Can you soak in a bath and see if it relaxes a bit?
Sounds like a good idea.
Thanks @LED!
Probably not a good idea I hope you can see your doc about it soon. Sorry wave.
Sorry Wave I hope it gets better really quick.
No I’m taking the Tylenol as prescribed, every 6 hours.
I saw my doctor but it’s gotten worse since I saw him.
He told me to stretch more often and that was basically it.
Thanks @everhopeful
@Wave
My stepmom uses salon passed. Try it??
Do you have a heating pad?
Yes I may try a heating pad next.
Thanks @LED @Leaf and @JustTrish
@Wave I hope your back pain eases soon . You’re right it could be a weight issue . I’m quite a bit overweight, and prone to lower back pain .
A heating gel for muscles like icy hot or rub a535 can sometimes help. I take Celebrex every day at bedtime which helps quite a bit.
Thanks @firemonkey and @FatMama
Hope you feel better soon @Wave.
Thanks @eighteyedspy23
I have back trouble too. In my case it is probably due to having all my excess weight concentrated right where it puts the most strain on my lower back. I hope you get better, Wave.
Thank you @crimby
How old is your bed ? Was it. A cheap bed or an expensive bed when you bought it?
Expensive enough.
It’s not my bed but it could be my couch.
It’s not meant to be used as a bed.
Very little lumbar support.
I’m really sorry, @Wave. Tylenol only does so much, huh? Did your doctor take an xray at least? How long has it been going on? I feel you on back pain, and I hate that you are going through it, too. It bothers me when someone else experiences it since I know what it’s like.
If it’s inflammation, you’ll need ice, not heat. It depends on why it’s hurt, so be sure you put on the right thing. If you aren’t sure, see which one makes it feel better than do that for 15 minutes at a time.
Thanks @Happy_H
