It hurts to move, I’m miserable. The 600 mg ibuprophen and 1000 mg Tylenol are doing nothing for me.
Heat up a towel or a pad and put it on your back @Leaf
ok, i’ll get my heating pad
Should help ease the tension a bit.
I took a hot bath, it was terrible getting in and out
I need a hot tub
Try not to move too much and see if you can get someone to massage it for you after using the pad.
It’s times like these I miss my husband
I’m sorry @Leaf
thank you 151515
Anytime.
May not be possible, but Icy Hot makes a cream with Lidocaine in it, there’s cream, balm, and roll on varieties. I suggest those if you can spare th he 10 bucks, I am on pain meds, muscle relaxers, tylenol and ibuprofen every 6 hours, and while it doesn’t anywhere take care of the pain, sometimes the icy hot helps takes edges off. And you can reapply as needed.
I should have got some when I was at the store, I love icy hot
Otherwise Dollar Tree has a generic “tiger balm” type thing, doesn’t work for me, but if you get desperate.
In the U.K. you can buy codeine + Tylenol in the drug store with no prescription. Problem
Is that stuff can be habit forming
I’m allergic to codeine. It causes psychotic episodes. Full blown psychosis.
my back is 50% better today. I think I’ll be back on my feet tomorrow.
Sorry to hear about your pain. Epsom salts in a hot tub relaxes muscles.
thank you 151515
When I have back pains, I just hang out at the bar with a couple of hookers.
I raise the Nitroflex bar such that when holding onto the bar, most of my upper body weight is lifted up from my waist area. This in turn stretches the spine and spinal muscles and soon gets rid of the pain. However, I can only hold onto the bar for so long. So what I do is strap onto my wrists what are known as “Hooks” or “Hookers”. These are designed for weight lifters, such that the wrist takes a lot of the weight as well rather than just your fingers doing the job alone, all when you are lifting barbell weights.
