I know. But she says that there are components of schizophrenia, but it’s not actually schizophrenia if that makes sense… I don’t think it does though

Well, you can have psychotic symptoms without having schizophrenia.

Schizoaffective disorder is a combination of bipolar with schizophrenia or schizophrenia with bipolar.
OR… schizophrenia with depression.

Schizoaffective is really 2 disorders in one label.

Yes, they are different disorders. Schizoaffective entails less intense psychotic episodes at average.

Yes but not always.
I may have SZA and my psychotic episodes are intense!
