Schizophrenia is like a mutant retirement program. We unlocked our powers and now we get to collect disability for the rest of our lives. Sounds like a win/win to me

Disability around these parts is almost 2/3 below the poverty line.
I’m thankful for it, but it’s not a win. I work 2 jobs to supplement my income.
I probably shouldn’t have made this topic because that is kind of insensitive, but I just thought it was funny. Trying to look on the bright side. Oh well…

not every sz gets approved for disability and just gets to live off the government the rest of their life. many struggle continuously with no help

They just haven’t unlocked their powers yet. They should try harder, but honestly sz is a gift. I can’t help it if I’ve been gifted. Don’t hate me cause I’m beautiful
