anyones psychotic break ever triggered by moving out to a new home?? we are moving to a new home after 7 years living here and im beyong depressed n anxious. need help

Moving is stressful, so I can easily see it triggering psychosis. I had my major psychotic break just about 2 months after moving to start graduate school. I’ve been overwhelmingly depressed since I moved back in with my family now.

Moving is a big stressor so try to take things slow.
I have moved several times and it can be stressful. Break the move down into steps. Write the steps down being as specific as possible. If you try to focus on everything at once you’ll get overwhelmed.

From what I’ve heard moving is very stressful. So yes it can trigger things.
