I literally can’t sit through a movie in one sitting. Because of my ADHD I cant sit still for that long. Movies are too long and boringggg

It sounds like you need to watch higher quality movies! :smiley: Or pause and take a lot of breaks!

i used to love watching movies now i can barely sit through.

I know a lot of people like that. And these days after ALL the movies ive seen its hard to watch it completely unless its for class or really attention grabbing. Thats why Ted Talks are 18 minutes because its proven thats how long the attention span of a human is

The only movie I’ve been able to sit through in decades was Borat. I have to admit I haven’t tried too many, given my track record. Let’s see - there was Harry Potter, Jurrassic Park, Star Wars, Tess, Cannery Row, The Incredible Shrinking Woman, The Whales of August, The French Lieutenant’s Woman - I sat through that one, on pins + needles. The others were all ‘boring’. Oh, years ago - The last picture show - I still remember parts of it - not so drugged up back then - not so sane -

Went to my Father’s house today for a talk with him and my stepmom about my head. After we talked we watched Ant Man . I was able to pay attention through the whole movie. It was nice to not be going nuts for a little while.

Sometimes talking about things at the right time clears a space.

I went through a number of years where I couldn’t sit through a full movie. Now days I can watch them fine for the most part. I’m really wanting to watch Spectre tonight but if I watch it without my girlfriend then she’ll kill me.

I have a hard time with movies too. If I’m not 110% interested and invested, I give up quickly. THe last movie I watched in its entirety was ummm…crap, I can’t remember. What does that say. Oh wait, Inside Out was the last one I saw.

Now when I watch a movie all I ever see are actors acting. My wife sees the characters they’re playing and pays attention to the story. I think they’re bad actors usually.
