Hello everyone. Wanted to wish all the mothers of the forum a happy early mother’s day. I was wondering what I should get my mom. Any suggestions?

You can never go wrong with candles or blankets. Those are the best gifts ever.
Does she have a favorite snack? Does she like popcorn? If she doesn’t have a small air popper those are about $20 and really good gifts.

Good suggestions so far. I do plan on getting her flowers. The popcorn idea sounds good but I worry she wouldn’t use it very much. I don’t know what personalizationmall is. I could try to cook for her and get her a blanket. I am not the best cook darn it. It would probably end up being something like grilled meat.

It doesn’t have to be a fancy meal. Just something she’s not responsible for preparing, cooking, or cleaning up after.

I will probably get her a bouquet. She loves cut flowers. I wish I could think of something else. Maybe I’ll get her a fairtrade organic milk chocolate bar as well.

I’m a guy, and I have no kids, but I’ve been called a mother a few times…is that the same thing?
I bought a movie gift voucher to go to the cinemas and I might make a cake.
I also bought small Ferraro rochet chocolate
And I bought Mother’s Day cards.
I was invited to attend a tea but I will decline.it sounds too painful for me.i can suffer to much socialising and there will be quiet a lot of people there so no but thanks for the invite🙂.
I’m going to stop telling (my mum)things as she’s so negative I specially will not tell her things about my love life or interest.
I miss the other woman who said she is my mum and she is probably a lot closer to me and she loves me much more too.
I love them both and others.

Thanks… here it is mothers day on sunday. It is also mums birthday this week though. I was out of money, so i bought here something cheap, but with a loving meaning.
A card i found beautiful with the text “you are so precious and so loved”. I bought a nice list around it. I wrote something sweet on the back.
Oh… me and my brothers also made a tiny pocket photo album with cool photos of all of us kids and grandchildren.
My mum loves sentimental stuff and quotes and photos. And it is kind of a different mothers day cause she is sick. So she cant eat and i want to mainly show her love and care.

We got my mom a 23 and me ancestry kit. She loved it and found out things she didn’t know. I think it’s a great present. I get along very well with my mother and my mother in law. I’m very lucky.
