My violin teacher had a fear of cats. I was willing to go along with it and shut our cat in but mother said no just because she didn’t have that fear and it was irrational. Who was mother to say where all our unconquered fears come from. I appreciate it when someone honors my feelings when I have a panic attack. Gee, Ma, have a heart.
