My violin teacher had a fear of cats and made me promise to have our cats put aside when she visited. But mother thought that was ridiculous and when one cat couldn’t be found, he, of course, showed up as the teacher arrived. She screamed, put her hands to her face and ran to the other end of the room. I have been studying cants and find them extremely controlling. I had a Feral cat who used to sit on my window sill and yowl when I practiced my violin. I am now looking before I leap about cats.

Some people have a cat phobia. I knew one man who was completely afraid of them.

I am also afraid of cats and other pets as well… when they make noise and come towards me or make some gesture of scratching when pushed those things still is very uncomfortable for me. As I did not grow up befriending animals. I was mostly a recluse. Now need to find some pets to play with and not get afraid.

A long time ago I knew a guy who went into a rage when he saw a cat. When he saw a cat he wanted it to die. If he had a gun he would shoot at it. If he was in a car he would try to run it over. If still seems strange to me. I’ve sometimes wondered if he still hates cats so passionately, decades later.

Cats are the most curious creatures to me. Love them to bits because you never really tame them but they are affectionate but it’s all on their terms.

I’m not afraid of cats…My experience with them is that they are not as friendly or loyal as a dog. Just my opinion. My sister and brother in law had cats, and I liked them, but they just arent the same as a big slobbering dog IMO.

She is loving and friendly in her own way.
Yeah different than a dog but just as profound
If I don’t obey my cats they vomit in my shoes. I have a healthy fear of my cats.
