It’s missing key features and it’s not accessible via desktop computer or laptop. I’ll go back when the improvements are made.
No interest in twitter or threads myself. I still have the twitter account but never use it.
I’m waiting for an invite from bluesky. I’m highly sceptical that it will ever come. Mastodon proved to be a massive disappointment… It proved by deed of action that it openly supports those that attack others. I have no idea about Threads.
I always find it interesting that people think the grass is greener on the other side to then realize it’s not!
I’m guessing you participate in controversial topics. You’re going to have problems on every platform if you’re doing that.

It was re the TERF vs trans issue. Apart from that it had mainly been (mental) health related with a small dash of politics. I was still finding my feet there.

I’m really not surprised Threads is basically dying immediately. We already have a number of large social media platforms. It would be incredibly difficult for a new one to rise up without offering some kind of experience other social medias don’t.

That’s putting it mildly. There’s a s*** stirring element involved that don’t give a tinker’s cuss about women/trans women and whose modus operandi is to cause as much discord and mayhem as possible.
And this is why my Facebook feed is 99% stupid Star Trek memes, grammar memes, photos, and cat humour.
I will make 100 million new accounts and only post cat videos
