No, but I saw about this on the news yesterday. I dont use twitter. I doubt I will use threads either. Just like I dont really use facebook outside of messenger. This site is enough social media for me.

How is it different to twitter?
You don’t have to pay to use it and it feels like pre-Musk Twitter.

Twitter is a hate speech platform now. Lots of hate groups have been testing the boundaries more and more each month, it’s not a safe space for marginalized folks.
I really wish another app would dethrone it cuz I am forced to use it to get updates from devs about video games I play.
I’ve been on bluesky social for months I’m still not sure about it.

I feel slower compared to others around me when using socials. Feel overwhelmed by scrolling through it. They don’t seem as affected by it.

Dorsey is the reason that Twitter was falling apart when Musk got rooked into purchasing it. I don’t expect he’ll do any better with Bluesky.
That’s because you’re not curating your feeds properly. Block negative people (99% of the time this specifically includes your arsed-up family). Keep people who want to fight over politics and other crap OFF your timeline. Then it’s tolerable.

Nope. I find lots of new and interesting things, but they are not things that make me miserable. I’m part of communities of amateur broadcasters, experienced landscape photographers, foodies, and former and currently active chefs (I’m a chef, but not professionally active). Part of managing my SZ is managing my stress. I have curated the negative bits out of my social media life.
