mj doesn’t cause psychosis, sz does…mj will speed up the time that you get sz, but it doesn’t cause it.

Good info! This story is very typical for many young people. My first break was from smoking weed I believe.

True dude. I’m not a marijuana hater I appreciate it’s medicinal uses in some cases. But when misused it’s a dangerous medication. It’s like insulin. In some cases it’s useful in measured amounts but if I just go around without diabetes or a use for it taking massive doses of insulin…sure to mess a brother up lol

Marajuana is like reverse antipsychotic it makes me feel like doing things but side effect is psychosis

where antipsychotics make me feel like doing nothing as a side affect but takes away psychosis

Kid and I just had a talk. There’s psychosis in me/my family and his dad/dads family.

I think weed can make the difference between getting sz or not getting sz.

Kid spoke about weed a few times today. I asked him if he liked the hospitals I stayed at. Because he’s be in for a nice long stay if he smoked weed. And with his family background he can’t risk it. Not even once.

I hope he hears me. Even when the testosterone kicks in.

Canada has a warning label on cannabis:

Apparently MJ used to have a natural antipsychotic compound, but as it was selectively bred for stronger highs with more THC, the antipsychotic compound got bred out. It’s making a resurgence through cannabidiol now though, which is great for reducing positive symptoms.

I used to smoke weed in the morning ( cannabis for breakfast ) and then all day long. I don’t remember a great deal from that period of my life.

Yes this is the consensus as of now for it, and people with a predisposition to sz or psychosis are more likely to use mj

Oops zombie thread

I got psychosis/dissociation from it. I vividly hallucinated pretty much whenever I tried it.
