Today I had my Medicare annual test and they testing my mental functioning. I could draw a clock but couldn’t remember how how to draw the hands to show the time. I also could only remember one of three words. I’m guessing it’s more brain lesions.
Were you anxious?
Only a little. But I get autoimmune brain lesions so I’m worried it’s that again.
Yeah, a lot of things look different once one has a major mental illness diagnosis.
I’m sorry. That’s really scary to have to deal with. What do they usually do to treat the lesions? Do they go away eventually?
Do you have seizures? I heard that people with brain lesions may have seizures. I had an MRI done to see if I had brain lesions or anything neurological in the brain because I was having violent seizures.
No. I don’t have seizures. Thank God! But I get lesions now and then when I have a high positive ANA on my blood test. My body then attacks my brain.
