Miss playing chess...was never any good but enjoyed getting beat

ha I couldn’t follow any strategies in chess and was constantly getting beat by a friend of mine that we would meet once a week to play chess…was so much fun…I never beat him once…he was pretty good…haha…I would do it again if I could find someone to play. I always loved that scene in James Bond (can’t remember which movie), plays chess on a giant taller than a tree chess set with his nemesis…haha you like chess? I like checkers too.

note…there is a couple oklahomans that patented this game called “pente”…it involves clear jewel like beads on a vast pattern of overlying graph…the motive of winning is capturing the opponent’s beads in a straight line…first one to five in a row beads wins…exciting game and so cool to look at…thought I’d share…I have a Pente game sitting right here…friends love it and young ppl can play it too…like ten and older.

Before Chris was my husband and was still my boyfriend, he attempted to teach me chess. Attempted.

My (undiagnosed then) sza brain just could not figure it out.

He threw the board away after I picked it up and threatened to hurl it and all the chessmen off the deck into the backyard. Lol

It sounds bad, but I didn’t do it in a mean way. In hindsight, it had spiked a dysphoric manic episode.

enjoyed getting beat

I am intrigued. Only at chess or do you have … broader … interests?
