I’m just released from the clinic and my usual hobby - poker - doesn’t seem so nice anymore as I am losing big $$$
when mobile team guy comes to visit me next time he gonna teach me how to play chess. maybe i’ll check out the site if i learned it a bit.

I used to play on Yahoo all the time back in the day. I had 3000 games under my belt. I haven’t played in 10 years though. I got burned out on it.
I used to, but it gets boring after a while and I dislike sitting on my arse in front of a screen so much.

I’m horrible at chess. I’ve lost in 4 or 5 moves before.

I don’t have the patience for it. I can concentrate for long periods of time on other things, but for some reason, chess never did it for me.

I use to play chess all the time when I was younger, but when computer chess came along I lost all the time and got discouraged.

I let my countryfellow Magnus do they playing. I figure as long as he’s the champ they don’t need me.

You must have succumbed to what they call the Fool’s Mate.
Happens to many beginners.

Yeah. I’ve lost a couple of times to this. When they mate you 3 or 4 moves or whatever. But once you recognize it, it’s easy to defend against it.
