Misconceptions of your country

I saw a rude post about the US and thought that maybe we could all benefit from sharing questions and answers about our countries. Post the questions you have and answer people who ask about your place of residence. Please @ the person you are answering so we don’t get all mixed up.oh and make sure you post the name of the country you are answering about.

Anyone have questions about the US?

What fast food is the most popular in the U.S.? Fries? Hamburgers? Hot dogs? My guess would be hamburgers, but I’m too lazy to google it.

That we are number 1 in all categories. I think we can improve in some areas most definitely. I thank God/pray every day we got Trump in office. I don’t care what most people think anymore.

Canada and poutine and beaver tails and pure maple syrup and bacon. Mmm

Most of the time, I’m ashamed to be from the U.S. Especially with who we have in the President’s office right now.

Misconceptions about USA: hmm… Idk. I don’t get out much. I’m pretty much stuck at home here in Coldcomfortstan. Our main export is well-written and thoughtful posts. Our main import is video content and video games.

Can we not bring up politicians? I wanted us to share about our countries, not argue or promote anyone.

Do you put syrup on it?

It’s an option, although I think most would prefer ketchup or something more savory.

It’s really impossible to speak for all americans, as there are many different people, cultures, and so forth that make it up. It’s not always easy to pin down. Depends on where you go I suppose. But yes those sandwiches do sell apparently.

I find American’s sense of humour to be really ‘in your face’ and snarky, while the Brits and Canadians have more self-deprecation and an easier going attitude. Just my experience.
