Depends on your level. I would say (in general): high school entry level 25,000€ per annum, bachelor’s 30,000. Masters 40,000€. Because taxes are so high it’s common to get loads of benefits like a retirement plan, luncheon vouchers, vacation money, end of year bonus, hospitalization insurance,…
In my last job in 2012, I was paid 55,000€ per annum.

I worked for my dad in the 80s from age 14 to 23. He was an independent masonry trade contractor, I worked as a tender for him and was making $11\hr as what is called a ‘tender’ (I tended to the needs of the masons). I went on to get certified in Network Administration and In several other Technologies. The most I ever made working as an employee was $16 dollars an hour with full “benefits” and that wage was in Southern California, I could hardly afford a room in someones house as a roomer with that wage, after all that education and experience, only 5 dollars difference over a 35 year period, from labor to a highly technical positions with corporations. The stress and never getting ahead destroyed me and my ability to work or to want to. Its mostly all exploitation.
There are many benefits to working for me. As a janitor, I don’t expect to make a lot of money but working part time and collecting SSDI allows me a few luxuries. IDK about exploitation, I guess it depends on how you look at it. From working most of my life in low paying jobs, now I feel I am getting paid more then I’m worth in comparison to my other jobs. Of course I would like to make a hundred grand a year but I’m satisfied with my current wages and benefits. I am aware of part of your story.

All last year I’ve worked with 8.00usd for my hourly wage.
