Hi everyone.
So im considering partaking in some study in the hopes of eventually getting into mental health peer work as a career.
People i know are always telling me how i would be great at it if i wanted to pursue that path.
I spoke with a peer worker who works in in-patient and community fields. He gave me some pointers and tips and such.
I think it would be quite worthwhile to do this as a job. And very meaningful.
Anyone else ever worked/work in support work or anything of the sort? Or want to?
Thanks peeps.

I did a bit of this after my head injury. It was very rewarding, and helped me bridge back into paid employment at the time.
