Met the head of the clinical psychology department today. She was a nice person. She wanted to meet to see if I was suitable for a special course of CBT specifically for folk with schizophrenia/psychosis.
She took my history and we spoke for a while. End result is that I am going to get a course of psychological therapy. As this is the NHS there will be a waiting list but she was confident I would benefit from the therapy.
She is going to do the course herself - which is cool cos she was nice. Looking forward to it. At the very least it will get me out of the house.
Ps bumped into my CPN and she is coming out tomorrow to do my depot.

CBT. I hope they don’t give you lots of homework. Maybe you can just ask them to exempt you from homework if there is any.

Thanks sleepy. Think it might be summer before I start but that is common in the NHS.
My psychiatrist said I could tweak meds if I wanted to but I think I will stay on what I am on until I have had this therapy. Don’t want to change two things at once.

They do love their homework don’t they. That is one thing I don’t look forward to - mood diaries and such.
