Going to do Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Does my psychiatrist have to refer me to CBT or can my case manager set it up?

Some therapists do CBT.

It would likely more depend on your insurance as to who you need the referral from.

Good luck, hope it works for you.

I have had CBT (mostly at a mental health facility) and it is a little bit awkward but I believe it worked. I progressed along the path of recovery.

She’s good and all, but I was mostly joking. You’ll need a local referral.

Depends on your insurance.

CBT was by far the most effective therapy for my anxiety and depression but in regards to psychosis didn’t really do much. There is a variation on CBT that is specialized for psychosis that has very promising research backing it (I gave a presentation on it once) but good luck finding professionals trained in it.

Find the source/underlying cause and it might help.

Socratic thinking helped me.

I know what the cause is, mind control just feels so real though.
