What are the medications that treat disorganized speech and behavior?
I’ve never asked my doc about meds for my disorganized speech. I have a healthy dose of disorganized speech and it’s so hard to keep on track sometimes.
I’m on a Seroquel / Latuda combo. That keeps me level and lucid.
I found what helped my disorganized speech and thought was the coping tools I got in my therapy and being stable enough to do the CBT work.
Also, conversing on this site has helped too. I have to force myself to stay on topic, and make sure my post make sense. Little by little I think my brain is catching up with.

Zyprexa keeps me coherent. I don’t know that it does as much behaviour wise, but I rarely exhibit formal thought disorder (the repeated pointless annoying to me rhyming or repeat eating of sounds and the word salad it fixes, though I am told I’m still prone to “loose associations” at times but I think they just aren’t following) when consistently on it.
What’s more behavioural isn’t exactly resolved but I admit I don’t really understand what they’re talking about or why it’s important that it be different.

I found that too high a dose of my meds made my speech disorganized and I had to back off the dose.
