Medicine side effect or negative symptoms?

After my frist episode，I began to experience inability to feel pleasure(adhedonia) and inability to feel emotions, lack of motivation.I asked my doctor but he did not give me a definite answer.He just said it could be medicine side effect and negative symptoms both.

The antipsychotic medicine block our dopamine receptor.I find that “dopamine appears to mediate desire and motivation” on wikipedia. Antipsychotic drugs sedate our brain, so it must have a negative effect on brain function. I think lack of motivation is a side effect of antipsychotic drugs.

what do you think?

or maybe I just can not accept irreversible negative symptoms.

It is hard to say because like your pdoc said it can be both and it is subjective; what meds are you taking?
