I’m not sure what I need, but I have a vague sense of discomfort almost everyday. I shake, I have stomach aches, headaches, dizziness, anxiety, fatigue. I’ve been diagnosed sza but I’m very doubtful my diagnosis is accurate. I’m currently on 10 mg latuda, 15 mg evekeo, 5 mg lexapro, I take gaba, phenibut, and atenolol occasionally as well. Some days I just wish I could take something that will numb me and knock me out but I know any medication like this is probably not safe. Any help is appreciated
The best thing to do is tell your doctor about these side effects. That’s what I’d do anyway if I was in your position.
10 mg of Latuda is a pretty low dose.
Not even a therapeutic dose…???
The recommended starting dose of LATUDA is 40 mg once daily. Initial dose titration is not required. LATUDA has been shown to be effective in a dose range of 40 mg per day to 160 mg per day [see Clinical Studies]. The maximum recommended dose is 160 mg per day .
I think Latuda is not available in Nepal … Haha funny…
See a doctor. Mild serotonin syndrome.
I had pretty bad serotonin syndrome several weeks ago. My docs refuse to prescribe me a benzo for it, this might be the case but lately my doctors haven’t been too helpful. Is there anything else I can do? Thank you!
They prescribe me 20, I take 10 and it’s been working fine for months. The side effects are too much for me
I have a bunch of side effects from my Latuda, so I have to take Zofran or else I will vomit. Hopefully you will find something that cures this.
Hope you find the best meds for you. Everyone is different. Hope you find the right meds
I’ve been taking Niacin and Niacinamide megadoses for a few months, and it has helped with my symptoms to the point that I don’t hear voices anymore. I still had chronic headaches however.
About 2 days ago I started taking Glutathione megadoses, and it really has made a difference in my headache already. I’m less anxious, head hurts much less, I feel close to comfortable already.
Only your doctor can diagnose and treat you.
That being said, it may be Generalized Anxiety Disorder, but the supplements make it difficult to say. Maybe a case of rebound anxiety?
I would limit or eliminate caffeine and alcohol, and start cardio exercise (brisk walk is good).
I hope you feel better soon.
I think it’s serotonin syndrome, considering the symptoms, and that my doctor had diagnosed me with ss just over a month ago. My doc had suggested Remeron the last appt but I don’t want to take it bc of the side effects. Is there another antidepressant, besides Wellbutrin, which is less likely to cause serotonin syndrome? Would I be able to maybe just increase my antipsychotic and not take an ssri at all? Any help is appreciated
