What are the most effective OCD meds youve taken?
I don’t have ocd, but I believe that antidepressants are used. Also the supplement NAC might be useful.

I can vaguely recall an old school tricyclic AD was supposed to be good. Can’t remember the name
Clomipramine?
I don’t know if the symptom is OCD or racing thought but these meds removed them 95 % of the time the pines (Clozapine, Olanzapine and Qutiapine).
Nac helps. And probably a healthy diet. Get some fruit and veggies.
I have mild ocd. I’m not sure about meds for it. I just accepted it as a therapy sort of thing. Ask your pdoc
Clomipramine, Paxil (Seroxat in Eastern Europe)

Fluvoxamine is a good med for OCD also clomipramine is the old standard.
I used seroquel off label for it and it was helpful. Had to go off of it because prediabetes
I took zoloft once for OCD it dosent help much but Im also on a low dose
I’m taking Topamax, 200 mg, twice a day. I find myself to be more in the normal range. But, I honestly believe the OCD is woven so intricately into me that it can never be removed. It just is who I am.
