Med clinic appointment

I had a med clinic appointment. Today my doctor said I’m overdosing myself by taking my meds too close together. She also wants me to take the latuda at night again instead of in the evening.

She will think of increasing the Haldol to an acceptable dose to get me to the injection

I take my Latuda at 10 o’clock because i find that it helps me go to sleep. It usually takes about two hours before i get sleepy; it doesn’t just knock me out like Seroquel used to. The only thing is i have to eat an extra 350 calories when i take it. Sometimes i skip dinner and just eat at 10 when i take my meds.

Its the 350 calories that bother me. I usually eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with ramen. I gained weight while taking the latuda at night.

I now weigh 331 pounds a lot less than when I started this year

Yeah i hate eating the extra calories. It’s good that you’ve lost some weight though. You should be proud of yourself. Maybe eat less at dinner to make up for the extra 350 calories. Hang in there.

Yep. I have to do the same with latuda. 360 calories.

I’ve been on the 160 mgs dose for about 3 years. And it’s wasn’t until this year that I started taking it in the evening

When i was first prescribed it my pdoc told me i could take it in the morning or at night, just whatever works for me. She said some people find it sedating, some don’t. I tried it in the morning but i would always end up napping a couple hours after i took it. That’s why i started taking it at night.

I don’t want to take the night pills early so I have to wait until an acceptable time at night to take the night pills so I can wait 12 hours to take the first dose of meds during the day
