Does anyone take doxepin to sleep ive been on it two months and i seem to be having trouble urinating because of it whats a good sleep med to ask about?
You may want to ask about hydroxyzine (an antihistamine).

Antidepressants that effect seratonin can cause urinary retention aka like being constipated but with pee. I got it really bad on Zoloft. If you need another AD to be on maybe try an SNRI which has binding split between seratonin & norepenphrine transporters instead of all on seratonin or Wellbutrin which doesn’t effect seratonin at all, but Wellbutrin is actually said to have a more stimulating effect so not good for sleep I think.
I would recommend trazodone for sleep except it was useless to me on its own, I had to take it with a benzo but that was the best and most regular sleep I ever got in my life.

Zyprexa made me want to sleep a lot. It also made me crave sugar. I gained 60 lbs. in 120 days on Zyprexa.

I used to take trazadone it worked i forgot about it its been five years since i was on it thnx

Zopiclone is good and not as addictive as benzos
