Making progress in Photoshop skill training

I enrolled myself in a Photoshop course a month ago. Now half of the class is done. It is difficult for me because I have bad concentration and the class is 2.5 hours each day. But somehow I managed to follow what the teacher said in the class. Most of the classmates are very young, about 20 to 25 years old. I am the only one who is older than forty. I now can make simple designs and am very happy about the progress I’ve made.

BTW, the tuition fee for this course is cheap. The school only charged me $90. After this Photoshop course, I will attend a Coreldraw course.

Yesterday evening when I came out of the classroom I could not help singing along the way back home. I was happyyyyyyyy!

I’m a GIMP nut but I tried Photoshop a little while back and was very impressed. I even signed up for Creative Cloud. In the end though, I just couldn’t bring myself to invest the time into learning the software. Maybe someday, but for now I’ll stick with GIMP.

Thanks for your response, Malvok. Could I understand GIMP is another software dealing with images? But what GIMP stands for?

GNU Image Manipulation Program

It’s software to work with images, similar to Photoshop in some ways but free.
