Today I made pasta with soya sauce and vegetables fried and hummus.
And haddock fish thrown in lol
Does it sound a bit too odd?
It tasted good
What kind of odd but yummy meals do you make
I’m up for inspiration

I eat dinner pancakes with bacon and whipped cream, or cheese and nutella.
I also like to eat noodles with eggs. I boil the noodles, pour out most of the water, add a couple eggs, swish them around, and eat.
I know about 20 meals and that is it, I dont really try anything new. I’m no good at cooking though.
I’ll sometimes add soy sauce (soya) to my spaghetti.
Nothing odd about it.
Sounds good @anon90843118!
Thankyou!
I wasn’t sure how common it is to add soy sauce to pasta lol.
I probably know less than twenty meals too.
But I do like trying new meals by looking online tweaking recipes trying new things
When I was a pseudo bodybuilder I had to eat things with very specific macronutrients(protein, fat and carbs) because I’d need to fill in after what my main meals had been. This was kind of a midnight snack, but one day I found myself eating grapes with cheese and peanut butter. And it wasn’t half bad
I like to make pasta and then add butter and soy sauce. Yum! My son and I called them Chinese noodles. Cause they taste just like them. Throw in some chicken and veggies and you have a meal.
Yep just like Chinese noodles!
i had frozen burritos with salsa verde and jambalaya
My fav are dumplings but with cheese, fried with a little bit of fish sauce.
Odd, but good
Ooh I don’t think I would enjoy that
But each to their own taste
Occasionally I used to make mystery stir fry like ground beef, eggplant and leafy veggies in oyster sauce, chicken stir fried with mustard, ketchup fried with rice and bacon, pancakes with fresh berry sauce… I don’t have a creative bone left in my body so I don’t cook anything besides pasta or something anymore…
French toast with bacon in the middle, stacked and syrup. I actually ordered this from a breakfast place once, it was tasty.
Guess it doesnt sound to good. But boiling rice and red lentils togheter and then adding some sauce or rapeseed oil makes a tasty lunch in just 10-15 minutes.
Dont know that it’s that odd. But I like mayo on my fries.
Mayo + malt vinegar is my go-to for fries
Lean Cuisine when on sale. I like just meat and vege’s often, i’ve lost weight before. Sometimes i just bounce around the kitchen eating this or that till my hunger calms down- strange?, unhealthy?
Sounds delicious!
Definitely not strange… Think many people do that including myself
