I know that there is another food thread on here but I was wondering if you guys could offer me some food ideas! Extra points for healthy amd vegetarian because I’d like to go back, but I’m really open to seafood and meat!
Here’s the kind of recipes I want. Ethnic foods! Italian,Spanish,indian,asian,african,greek you name it. I don’t fancy too many american meals.
My favorite salad is a Greek salad. So simple too. Lettuce, red onion, grape tomatoes, black olives, feta cheese, croutons, Greek dressing. I like renee’s creamy Greek dressing. You can add chicken as well.
One dish my mom makes is Sticky Tofu. First buy firm tofu and cut them up and fry in a pan, put aside. Put a little bit of garlic in a pan put soysauce and rice syrup and sesame seeds and put in the tofu to coat.
im happy to see you on here as well @cynnelise havent seen you in a while! Also roasted vegetables are pretty good. You can chop up potatoes, corn, onions, sweet potatoes, carrots, brussel spouts, spray with oil and bake for like 30 minutes or something. really good!
LOL I know!! I heard the saying on a cooking show once! They were talking about how Gumbo came along and now everytime someone just puts something together out of nothing I call it that LOL
Thank you! Yeah I have been vegetarian most of my life. Started eating meat again a few years ago. Definitely considering going back but I need to make sure it’s safe for my son first.
