Making myself employable again

Last year I have began working for a half time clerical job. I figure that I need more income and a full time job. So I am working for a full time easy job in an office now. It’s a temp, I’d be leaving in a few months. But I will have some government clerical experience I can put into my resume. I think it’s making myself more employable. It’s low pay. But I’m getting up every morning and working Mon to Fri. I have some responsibilities I managed adequately each and every day. I know it would bring me better opportunities in the future.

I have been looking for permanent jobs. It’s not easy but there is a few jobs I might be able to do. It makes me happy when i find a job that looks manageable to me. I’m not doing the tests and interviews as good as I used to do. But with practice I notice that I’m getting better at talking to strangers and answering to questions. It’s not easy to give an answer to the point. I’m trying harder to get a better answer out of myself. I am applying for entry level office jobs. I think what I’m doing right now is helping me to get there. If I could get a permanent job, it would make a different to me. Mom is retiring. She said she don’t have enough money. I wish I could find a permanent job and help paying the bills. I intend to spend 2 to 3 years on temp job while looking for a permanent job in the government. I’m building up my credentials and it think it’s possible. I need to keep working for 25 years and put aside most of the money so that I can take care of myself when I get old. I need to be wise on spending money. Recently I find pleasure in buying mom sth nice to eat. I like it when mom said it’s delicious. So this is what I’m doing for 2015 and 2016. I think I’ll keep doing this in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Hopefully I’ll find success in 3 years time. If I manage to find a permanent job, life would be predictable and I don’t have to worry over money. Wish me well.

As long as you can work and help it’s a good thing to be doing. I hope you can avoid the disability system and continue to help your Mom out. I did that for a time myself but became overwhelmed over time. It’s a noble thing to do and I wish you well.

All the best goggles!

I wish you the best goggles. I’ve been trying too as my dad is retiring in two years. For government jobs have you tried the USAjobs.gov website and governmentjobs.com. Those are the two that I use.
