Make yourself feel old: What was your favorite outfit in High School and what is your favorite outfit now?

My favorite outfit in high school was a Rainbow Brite shirt and security guard pants with shoes made to look just like bowling shoes.

It was ■■■■■■■ horrible.

Like so many pictures of me in that outfit.

Now I wear mostly leggings with flannel shirts.

Things have changed, but I still care very little about matching.

And in honesty, I’d probably wear those bowling shoes again if I could find them.

Though I’ve long suspected my mother trashed them before I went to college.

They were bright blue.

How about you guys?

I wore a lot of different t shirts and blue jeans growing up.
Nothing much has changed, still love t shirts and jeans

I just wore jeans and a T-shirt in the 90’s and 2000’s. Now I wear shorts and a T-shirt in the summer and sweatpants and a hoodie for most of the rest of the year. Don’t even have any jeans anymore.

I liked wearing jeans, sweat pants, and t-shirts when I was in grade school. It’s still what I like to wear and what I do wear most days. I’ll wear dress pants, a good shirt, and a bow tie on formal occasions. That’s also when the bowler hat comes out.

When I was about 18 years old I owned a pair of tight fit Bang Bang jeans wich I was very proud of.

Nowadays I just wear short pants and t- shirts.

Bright colored skinny jeans and a metal band t shirt

Now i just wear plain t shirts and sweats or basketball shorts

I never really had an outfit.

Had some cool metallica T-shirts I wore all the time by pushead which were cool

In my late teens I bought a box fresh jacket that I owned for about 12 years.

Could never find an exact replacement. That’s the only time I have been pissed off about clothing!

I wore bell bottom jeans and an afro of my naturally curly hair back then…I was also light brown so in the summer it turned blond. haha…idiot acid head.

now I wear rockabilly clothes, mostly black shirts and slacks these days.

Bell bottom Levi’s, a long underwear top, a Levi’s vest, hiking boots and a chain with a peace sign around my neck. If it was after school in winter I wore a beanie.

Now, it’s just jeans, a pocket tee shirt, and tennis shoes. When it comes fashion I think I’ve gone backwards and I wear what I wore in the 1980’s and 1990’s.

I wore oversized men’s t-shirts and more form fitting men’s long sleeve shirts. My shoes were boyish looking DC shoes. I had “normal” jeans, I think, but they flared a bit at the bottom.

Nowadays, I wear mostly women’s clothes and some unisex clothes.

I went from being very boyish, in style, to being very feminine, in style.

I wore a lot of t-shirts and jeans, but I think my fave jeans were my red/black plaid skinnies. Now though, my fave is probably our flowy white top and black skater skirt with a petticoat. Add tights, our heeled boots, and some jewelry, and it’s perfect! Oh, and extra points for my half red half white wig!

A skater hoodie with a cool design and thumb holes. Now I just wear comfy clothes.

Bell Bottom Jeans and a t-shirt with a band name scrawled across it. Have I dated myself, LOL

I still have my favorite Neil Young shirt, but it’s in tatters

Today, I much prefer track pants. Anything comfortable, that doesn’t Flair up my back

My favorite was a pair of these kinda maroon corduroys with a navy t shirt and skate shoes. The pants were my brothers so I only got to wear them a few times even though I thought it was the coolest outfit. But more feasibly it was a red adidas shirt and a pair of Levi 501s and whatever skate shoes I was wearing at the time. Now it’s a pair of brown jean cut pants, a navy blue t shirt, and a pair of grey Birkenstock bostons.

When I was in high school I went through a lot of different fashion fads. Punk, skater, goth, industrial.

I remember being very fond of a Nine Inch Nails shirt I had.

Nowadays I just dress urban. Not so much hip-hop fads, but baggy shirts and relaxed fit jeans with Adidas shoes. I also wear my Adidas slides if it’s warm enough out with either sweatpants or joggers.
