I just took 500mg depakote like an hour age and i feel super weird, kinda itchy and suspicious of everything. I dont know why i keep trying this med. Does anybody know when the effects wear out?
It has a half-life of 8-16 hours. so that is how long it takes for half the medication to be eliminated from your system, Once that happens you’ll probably start to feel more normal. But it takes roughly 5 half lives to completely eliminate a medication from your system.
