I shouldnt of been viewing the live video of my front house camera… but I was & 2 people walking by with a dog pointed at my house and were staring at my house. Now im paranoid. Why would they point and stare at my house? What if they were seeing if it was a good house to break into tonight?
Btw, I don’t hallucinate, ever. & It’s on video. Can someone calm me down? Im trying to talk myself out of my paranoia. They were walking a dog, so thats a normal thing. Maybe they were bored?
If it helps I could come up with several reasons people point and stare at houses.
My husband is a residential architect and we walk our neighborhood in the evening and he loves to notice the different types of homes around us. He will stand outside people’s homes and discuss what decade or century the home was built in, what style, maybe the type of roof it has, the type of windows, ect.
They may have noticed your security cameras and wondered what brand they are, if they work well and if they should get cameras for their property also.
They may be looking to rent or buy a home and were discussing their home search by noticing that your house fits what they have been looking for in a house or that they are looking for a bigger or smaller house than yours.
Basically, standing outside someones house while walking by is not something house robbers do so I think you are totally safe.
