Has anyone have experience with Loxapine?
Currently on clozapine and it has helped a lot unfortunately cause of sides (white blood cells diminishing) have to go off.

I think it falls right before clozapine. Very sedating, short half life. Have to take it every 4-5 hours.
Gave you been on it? What was your experience with it?

It was too sedating, I couldn’t do anything on it besides sleep so I gave up on it.
I’m on loxapine. It’s an okay AP overall. But it is very sedating. It doesn’t really completely take away the voices or delusions for me though.
Does it compare to clozapine?
I’m not sure, I’ve never been on clozapine.

Hi @mike23, to be honest I’ve never heard of loxapine effecting heart rate and blood pressure. That would be a good question to ask your psychiatrist though.
