I have never been comfortable around babies, i’m scared of them for some reason. mostly because they are so needy (I don’t mean that negatively just meaning they rely on parents and caregivers for every thing)
I love my partner’s nieces, nephews and little sister. I worry about them a lot especially when they are sick. the oldest is turning 19 and the youngest is turning 11. I have only known my in laws and their family for about almost 7 years since their little girl was 4…wow that is a long time. I like to paint, color and hang out with the kids. they tell me if something is bothering them but usually they make me promise not to tell anyone.

I’m terrified of babies, too. An awesome responsibility. I think trying to be pleasant around them is the extent to which I’ll go. I’m not particularly smart about people anyway and trying to figure out what a baby might be fussing about would probably be beyond me.

Babies aren’t that hard to figure out, they’re hardy little parasites that understand 3 things,
*Eat
*Poop
*Sleep,
And not necessarily in that order.
Once they start walking and talking, things get a bit trickier. They start to think on their own, try to be independent, and develop a personality all their own.
Kids are fascinating, I love all stages of their growing up and believe it’s every adults duty to protect the children-all children, regardless of who “owns” them, from all things that harm.
Children are our future, treat them right, because someday they maybe taking care of you.
